Every so often I like to take a break from the plain-air work and do something different. Inspired in someways by the works of George Bellows who would often stuff a picture with as many figures as he could. I love painting outdoors. Sometimes a scene will suggest a story or imply one. This allows me as the artist to pick up on an idea and see where the viewer takes it.
